The soccer scene in Kansas is about to experience a major boost with the official launch of the League of Topeka, a brand-new adult 11v11 outdoor soccer league based in the Topeka area. With grassroots passion and a city-wide vision, the league aims to unite the community, grow the beautiful game, and set a new standard for adult competitive soccer in the region.

The inaugural season will feature six clubs, each representing a unique slice of Topeka's geography and culture:

  • Topeka Olympique

  • Old Capitol Wanderers

  • East Topeka Republic F.C.

  • Atlético Oakland

  • AFC Menoken

  • Central City F.C.

Each club will play a total of 12 matches during the regular season. Teams will face every club twice — once at home and once away — and an additional two matches will be played against randomly drawn opponents, one home and one away. This format guarantees a balanced yet dynamic fixture list to keep competition fresh and engaging.

At the heart of the League of Topeka is its connection to the broader Kansas City Association Football Federation (KCAFF). The top one or two finishers in the league will earn a coveted opportunity to compete in the KCAFF Super League the following season — a chance to showcase their skills on a bigger stage and raise Topeka’s profile within the state and beyond.

But before the first whistle blows, there’s a call to action: each of the six clubs is currently seeking an owner or ownership group. Ideal candidates are individuals or organizations with a strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and preferably a working knowledge of both soccer and business operations. This is more than just an investment — it’s a chance to shape the identity of a club and contribute to the growing momentum of soccer in Kansas.

Inquiries regarding club ownership should be directed to: kcaff.contact@gmail.com.

As the League of Topeka gets set for kick-off, the message is clear: this is more than just a league — it’s a movement. Come be a part of the growing soccer entity that is KCAFF and help make Kansas the soccer capital of America.
