There are some changes that will occur for the Championship match day. It is obviously the biggest day of the tournament as a champion will be crowned and a legacy be had. Here are some of the things to expect:
1. All supporters, even family and friends, will occupy the opposite sideline of the teams. If you are not one of the players, coach or a predetermined and approved team staff, then you will be required to remain on the opposite sideline.
2. T-shirts depicting each team will be available for pre-order and if there is enough interest, they will be available to purchase at the match. Please email us at theselectleague@gmail.com if you have any questions or are interested in purchasing one of these shirts.
3. At halftime, the team captain or manager from each team in the tournament will be awarded a match ball to thank them and their players for their dedication and hard work in helping us achieve what we set out to do.
4. After the match is complete, there will be the closing ceremony where tournament awards will be given out along with medals will be awarded to both teams and will be joined on the field with 3rd place team for once again the playing of the national anthem of the winning nation.
