Ask how to become a club owner today

The Challenger League is gearing up for its inaugural season, and the excitement is palpable. This new venture aims to invigorate the Kansas City Area Football Federation (KCAFF) by introducing a tiered league system complete with promotion and relegation, akin to the storied leagues of English football. The league is currently open for applications from prospective club owners, offering a unique opportunity to become a part of this burgeoning football community.

#### Firm Commitment from Armory FC

As of now, Armory FC, based in Belton, MO, stands as the sole club with confirmed ownership. The details surrounding the club's leadership and vision will be unveiled at a later date, but their early commitment sets a promising tone for the league.

#### Prospective Entry: Mission Argyle

The league is hopeful that Mark Conroy of Plymouth, UK, will finalize his plans to establish Mission Argyle. Conroy's deep understanding of the English Football Association's workings would be a significant asset, given that the Challenger League and its upper-tier counterpart, the Select League, are modeled after the English football pyramid. His involvement would not only lend credibility but also provide invaluable experience in club management and development.

#### Placeholder Clubs: Blaue Quellen 70 and Cnoc an Earraich

To facilitate a smooth transition as the league gains momentum, two "placeholder" clubs have been introduced: Blaue Quellen 70 and Cnoc an Earraich. These clubs have been crafted with specific cultural and local significance:

- **Blaue Quellen 70**: Set to be based in Blue Springs, MO, this club's name translates from German to "Blue Springs," with the "70" referencing the nearby interstate. This nod to the local heritage is intended to foster community support and identity.

- **Cnoc an Earraich**: Translating to "Spring Hill" in Scots Gaelic, this club honors the Scottish roots of James B. Hovey, the first resident of Spring Hill, KS. The club's colors will align with those of the local high school, further embedding it within the community.

These placeholder clubs are available for adoption by interested owners. However, new owners also have the option to propose their own club names, crests, and colors, subject to league approval.

#### A New Chapter in KCAFF

The establishment of the Challenger League marks a significant expansion of the KCAFF's structure. Positioned below the Select League, the Challenger League introduces a dynamic promotion and relegation system that promises to enhance competition and foster a more engaging football environment.

Additionally, the formation of the KCAFF Cup, details of which will be revealed soon, is set to add another layer of excitement and competition across the leagues.

#### Join the Movement

The Challenger League is actively seeking reliable and passionate individuals or groups to join this exciting new venture. If you are interested in owning a club in either the Select or Challenger leagues, please reach out to kcaff.contact@gmail.com for more information. Reliability and a commitment to the sport are the primary attributes sought in prospective owners.

The introduction of the Challenger League represents a thrilling development for football in the Kansas City area, promising to bring the community together through sport and create a vibrant, competitive atmosphere for years to come.
