KCAFF has numerous, far-reaching goals it hopes to succeed in the coming years. The World Cup 2022 Olathe was highly successful and was the launching point (or test bed) for all that will follow. International play will continue for 2023 in the form of friendlies as KCAFF looks to build more teams. Official friendlies will affect the world rankings and new national teams will also begin to build their world rankings. As we build teams within each Association, final plans will be made for each Association's independent tournaments. This includes the Africa Cup of Nations, the Gold Cup, the Asia Cup and the Euro2024. All of this will lead to KCAFF's biggest planned event: World Cup 2026.

 

Also as mentioned, the Select League is going to start up the spring of 2024. This club league will consist of 10 clubs around the KC metro area that will face one another twice in the season, once at home and once away. At the conclusion of the season, the club with the most points in the table will be crowned the champion. Like the international play, the Select League has numerous goals over the coming years. In no particular order of occurrence, they include youth teams associated with each club, another 10 clubs forming a lower division to allow for promotion and relegation, a women's league, and hopefully a Champions League in cooperation with other leagues within the heartland.
