Volunteer Positions Needed

The purpose of this league and our international games is to make the game accessible to the most people as possible which means keeping the costs as low as possible. In order to do this, we are looking for volunteers to help take on this endeavor and lead it to success.

Social Media Manager

Primary duties: A social media manager oversees the entire social media department. They make sure that everything The Select League shares aligns with its aesthetic and messaging. It's their responsibility to manage the operations of social media campaigns. We need someone highly knowledgeable about the latest social media trends. It'll be their job to find compelling content to share on our social media feeds. Ability to use content curation tools or software to find interesting articles, images and videos to share is a plus. It's also their job to ensure what is shared is appropriate and on-brand for The Select League. A person who is self motivated and can take on things without being prodded is the ideal candidate.

World Cup Game Day Manager

Primary duties: The World Cup Game Day Manager will plan for and organize the game day experience outside of the game itself. This would include bringing in food trucks or other vending to be on site during the games. The manager would also organize any cultural entertainment before and during the halftime of the games. The position would also need to help organize the pregame festivities and team introductions. Overall, this position needs someone who is motivated and can help make this an enjoyable event for all.

Coaches

Primary duties: While some of our squads have coaches, we need more. The coach's responsibilities include, planning and organizing practices. Times and practice locales will need to be determined by the coach based on feedback from his players. The coach will also be the point man for the league to be in contact with for all things concerning the team. The coach will also have to determine the starting line ups and decide when and who to substitute during a match. Coaches should be equitable and fair with their players as this league and tournaments, while competitive, are to be for fun.
