The anticipation was high as Lenexa City F.C. traveled to Lee's Summit to face off against LS Athletic in a crucial match this past Saturday. The match began approximately 15 minutes late due to delays in setting up the goals and the late arrival of some players, but LS Athletic showed good sportsmanship and understanding, allowing for a smooth start to the game.

Once the match kicked off, Lenexa City wasted no time in taking control of the game.


Malkeet Athwal shone brightly, scoring two goals to give Lenexa City a commanding lead. Athwal's first goal came early in the game, setting the pace for his team's performance. His second goal, scored in the second half, solidified Lenexa City's advantage.
