**Job Description:**

Lee's Summit Athletic is seeking a highly organized and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Football Operations. Reporting to the club officers elected by the club members, the Director of Football Operations will play a crucial role in the overall management and success of our football program.

 

**Responsibilities:**

​

1. **Travel Logistics Management:**
   - Coordinate and manage all logistical aspects of the team's travel schedule, including booking flights and hotels for out-of-area tournaments.

​

2. **Team Support Staff Oversight:**
   - Oversee the team's equipment managers, trainers, and other support staff to ensure they meet professional obligations and contribute to the team's success.

​

3. **Compliance Coordination:**
   - Collaborate with the team's head coach to ensure compliance with league rules and regulations by all team members.

​

4. **Event Organization:**
   - Organize and manage various team activities, including charity events, community outreach programs, and social events.

​

5. **Facilities and Equipment Management:**
   - Ensure the team has adequate facilities and equipment for both training sessions and games.

 

6. **Player Contract Negotiation:**
   - Negotiate and sign new player contracts, as well as handle the termination of existing contracts when necessary. This includes managing player loans.

 

7. **Communication Facilitation:**
   - Act as an intermediary between the team's head coach and other executives within the organization, providing information and facilitating effective communication.

 

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in a similar role within football operations or able to learn quickly on the fly.
- Strong organizational and managerial skills.
- In-depth knowledge of football league rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff and other organizational executives.
- Flexibility to handle travel logistics and attend events as needed.
