### Job Description:

Lee's Summit Athletic is seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Volunteer Photographer. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their portfolio and gain valuable experience in sports photography. As a Volunteer Photographer, you will work closely with the Media Director to capture memorable moments during various athletic events.

### Responsibilities:

1. **Event Coverage:**
   - Attend and photograph LS Athletic events, capturing action shots, candid moments, and key highlights.

2. **Collaboration:**
   - Collaborate with the Media Director to understand the visual storytelling requirements for each event.
   - Coordinate with other volunteers and staff to ensure comprehensive event coverage.

​

3. **Quality Assurance:**
   - Review and edit photos to ensure high-quality and visually appealing content.
   - Ensure timely delivery of edited photos to the Media Director.

​

4. **Equipment Management:**
   - Responsible for the care and maintenance of personal photography equipment.
   - Report any equipment issues or requirements to the Media Director.

5. **Portfolio Building:**
   - Use this volunteer opportunity to build a diverse and impressive portfolio showcasing sports photography skills.

​

### Qualifications:

- Passion for sports photography and capturing dynamic moments.
- Owns a DSLR or mirrorless camera with relevant lenses and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
